Kaspersky Password Manager’s functionality revolves around passwords. You can use the application to securely store passwords, to generate strong passwords that will protect access to your various accounts, and to quickly access websites that ask you to enter a password.

The system requirements for running Kaspersky Password Manager are: 512MB of RAM memory or more, 10MB of free disk space, Windows operating system (anything from Windows XP to Windows 8). The application provides support for Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, Mozilla’s Firefox, Google’s Chrome, and other browsers.

Download an installer, run it, and a setup wizard will help you install Kaspersky Password Manager.
Another wizard will help you set up the basic configurations: set a master password, select an authorization method (password protection, USB device, Bluetooth device, no authorization), choose when the application will automatically go on lockdown (after 10 minutes of computer inactivity for example), choose to install a browser extension.

Kaspersky Password Manager displays an icon in the system tray while it is running. Double click it to lock/unlock the application. Left click it and you will be presented with a context menu that allows you to access multiple functions: Settings menu, password generator, password manager, install the portable version, access all accounts, access all secure notes, and more.

From a functionality point of view, you can expect to get the following from Kaspersky Password Manager: store passwords in an encrypted database, import passwords or manually create passwords, create accounts and secure notes, use hotkeys to lock the application, enter a password, or use the virtual keyboard, manage templates, generate passwords, easily access websites.

Kaspersky Password Manager is free to use for a trial period of 30 days.

Security conscious users are sure to love Kaspersky Password Manager’s great functionality.
